There are two time zones in Florida:

Eastern Standard Time EST (UTC-05:00)
Most of Florida is in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone, including the major cities of Miami and Orlando. However, the western part of the state (west of the Apalachicola River, including Pensacola) is in the Central Standard Time (CST) zone.
Daylight Saving Time in Florida
Florida also observes daylight saving time; daylight saving time generally runs from the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October.

Florida is located in the southeastern United States. It borders the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and the states of Alabama and Georgia. Much of Florida consists of a peninsula between the Gulf and the Atlantic. With approximately 2,170 kilometers, Florida has the longest coastline in the continental United States.
